Who are the courses available to?
Our Fluidform Training courses are available to anyone. Whether you hold a Pilates teacher qualification or are wanting to persue a career in Pilates and functional movement instruction, you are able to enrol in this course.

How is this course delivered?
This course is delivered online, on-demand and through in-person training.
The online course includes; comprehensive training manuals, tutorials, interactive workshops and self-mastery supported by Fluidform at Home*.
The in-person training includes; comprehensive training manuals, tutorials led by Kirsten King, interactive workshops and self-mastery supported by Fluidform at Home* & Fluidform Studios.
*Fluidform at Home is additional to course price. -
How do I prepare for this course?
You will need to prepare for this course by learning basic functional anatomy, including terminology, the skeleton, joints and muscles.
Prior to commencing this course, you will be required to successfully pass a short quiz demonstrating a base level knowledge of anatomy.
We can recommend some resources to prepare you for this knowledge. -
What do I need to complete the course?
You will need to sign up for Fluidform at Home if you are not already a member, this supports your online learning throughout the workshops.
Please Note: If participating in a reformer course, you will need access to a reformer. -
How long do I have to complete the course?
The online learning materials will be available for 12 months from registration, for you to access and review as you start practising as an instructor.
The full matwork & reformer courses will take just over 6 months to complete (12 months combined).
Fluidform Reformer Fundamentals and Fluidform Reformer 2.0 are allocated eight weeks to complete. All other workshops are allocated six weeks to complete all components.
We understand that everyone's circumstances are different and can support you with these timeframes. -
How long does it take to complete each workshop?
Each workshop requires approximately 60 hours to complete. This includes a combination of:
Self-mastery: 25 hours (Your own learning/participation classes, this can be achieved through Fluidform at home.
Observation: 10 hours (Observing classes)
Teaching: 30 hours (A combination of teaching peers and practicing independently throughout the course)

What is included in the workshop price?
Your registration fee includes access to all online learning modules and a supporting electronic manual.
*Fluidform at Home is not included in this price. -
What Does The Full Online Courses Include?
The full online mat qualification consists of 5 workshops; Fluidform Reformer Fundamentals, Fluidform Reformer 2.0, Fluidform Layering, Fluidform Programming and Fluidform Reformer Pre & Postnatal.
The full online reformer qualification consists of 5 workshops; Fluidform Reformer Fundamentals, Fluidform Reformer 2.0, Fluidform Reformer Layering, Fluidform Programming and Pre & Postnatal. -
What practical hours will be required for the course?
The practical components are key to your training journey. Each workshop requires, a combination of observation 10 hours, self-mastery 25 hours and teaching 25 hours. For the full course this is 300hrs of practical.
This allows you the opportunity to fully understand movements and be confident in your teaching. -
If I am doing the online courses, is there anything that needs to be done in person or all virtually since I am living Overseas?
The Fluidform courses have been designed to support you in your learning and training from afar. We have had many International students complete both the Reformer and Mat training.
In regards to practical, ideally there would be some form of in studio experience but we are happy for that to be in a local studio.
