The Fluidform Reformer 2.0 movements will further extend your Fluidform reformer repertoire. They build on fundamental movements introducing you to progressions, additional equipment and unilateral work.

This workshop will introduce you to the Fluidform Reformer 2.0 movements, what they are, why we teach them and how to teach them.

You will learn each focus muscle group, correct positioning and how to identify correct and incorrect movements.

The online component of this workshop will go through each position and movement from setup through to execution, identifying the common errors in each.

Fluidform Reformer 2.0

  • Objectives

    To learn, understand and confidently teach the Fluidform Reformer 2.0 movements.

    This workshop is designed to teach you what the 2.0 movements are, why we teach them and how to teach them.

    You will also be given the opportunity to perfect your own practice, which is imperative for your understanding of the Fluidform method.

  • Outcomes

    Understand the correct setup positions for each of the 2.0 movements.

    Teach and cue each of the 2.0 movements.

    Identify correct and incorrect positions and movements.

    The importance of hands on cues to ensure your client achieves the most out of every movement.

  • Requirements

    This workshop requires you to complete a combination of self-mastery, observation and teaching hours to further enhance your understanding of the Fluidform Way.

    Observation: 10 hours
    Teaching: 30 hours

    As part of this workshop you will receive a Fluidform Reformer 2.0 manual.

    At the completion of this workshop, there will be a combination of written and practical assessments.

  • Who are workshops available to?

    Our Fluidform Training workshops are available to anyone. Whether you hold a Pilates teacher qualification or are wanting to pursue a career in Pilates and functional movement instruction, you are able to enrol in this course.

  • How do I prepare for this workshop?

    You will need to prepare for this workshop by learning basic functional anatomy, including terminology, the skeleton, joints and muscles. Prior to commencing this course, you will be required to successfully pass a short quiz demonstrating a base level knowledge of anatomy. We can recommend some resources to prepare you for this knowledge.

  • What do I need to complete the workshop?

    You will need to sign up for Fluidform at Home if you are not already a member, this supports your online learning throughout the workshops.

  • How long do I have to complete each workshop?

    For Fluidform Reformer and 2.0 have eight weeks from commencement date to complete all components of the workshop, including your assessment. All other workshops can be completed in six weeks.

  • How long do I have access to the training material?

    The online learning materials will be available for 12 months from registration, for you to access and review as you start practising as an instructor.

  • How long does it take to complete each workshop?

    Each workshop requires approximately 60 hours to complete. This includes a combination of online learning 10 hours, self-mastery 25 hours and teaching 25 hours. This is an estimate as each individual may vary in the time they take to complete each workshop component.

  • What is included in the workshop price?

    Your registration fee includes access to all online learning modules including a supporting electronic manual.

  • What does the full reformer qualification include?

    The full reformer qualification includes 5 workshops; Fluidform Reformer Fundamentals, Fluidform Reformer 2.0, Fluidform Layering, Fluidform Programming and Fluidform Pre & Postnatal.

  • What practical hours will be required for the course?

    Your practical hours will include a combination of observation 10 hours, self-mastery 25 hours and teaching 25 hours.

  • How is this workshop delivered?

    This workshop is delivered online, through a comprehensive training manual, tutorials and self-mastery supported by Fluidform at Home.

  • Will I need access to a reformer to complete the reformer workshops?

    You will require access to a reformer to complete your self-mastery, teaching hours and assessment components of this workshop.
